Terms of Use
Last Updated: August 3, 2026
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set forth the conditions for using MyCarLogs (the “App”), provided by Epsilon Labs, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the App, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1. Application of These Terms
These Terms apply to all matters relating to the use of the App between you and us.
We may establish additional rules concerning use of the App. Those rules form part of these Terms.
2. Use of a Google Account
You do not need to register an account for normal use of the App. You must sign in to a Google Account to use the Google Drive backup and restore features.
You are responsible for managing your Google Account appropriately.
3. User Data and Backups
Vehicle, fill-up, maintenance, and other records entered in the App are generally stored on the device you use.
A Google Drive backup is created only when you initiate the backup operation in the App. Backups are stored in a hidden application data folder created by the App.
Restoring a backup overwrites the data currently stored on the destination device with the selected backup. You are responsible for confirming the selected backup and the current data before restoring.
We do not store records entered by you or backups stored in Google Drive on our servers.
4. Ending Use and Deleting Data
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling the App deletes data stored on the device.
Backups stored in Google Drive are not automatically deleted when you uninstall the App or sign out of your Google Account.
You can delete backups from the backup history within the App. Backups cannot be managed while you are signed out, so you must sign in again with the same Google Account.
5. Advertising and Usage Analytics
The App uses Google AdMob to deliver advertising and Firebase Analytics to analyze usage.
Details about advertising, usage analytics, and the handling of information are provided in the Privacy Policy.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You must not engage in any of the following conduct:
- Conduct that violates laws, regulations, or public order and morals
- Conduct related to criminal activity
- Conduct that interferes with operation of the App
- Attempts to gain unauthorized access
- Conduct that infringes the rights or interests of us or any third party
- Commercial use of the App without our permission
- Decompiling, reverse engineering, or otherwise analyzing the App
- Any other conduct that we consider inappropriate
7. Intellectual Property Rights
Copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in the App and in text, images, software, and other content made available through the App belong to us or to third parties with legitimate rights.
You may not reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, or otherwise use this content without permission from us or the applicable rights holder.
8. Changes, Suspension, or Termination of the App
We may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the App when necessary due to system maintenance, disasters or accidents, suspension or specification changes of external services, or other circumstances we consider necessary.
9. Disclaimer
We make no warranty regarding the safety, accuracy, completeness, usefulness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted and error-free operation of the App.
Except where we are liable under applicable law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the App, changes to, suspension of, or termination of the App, suspension, failure, or specification changes of external services, or loss of data stored on a device or in Google Drive.
10. Handling of Personal and Other User Information
We handle personal and other user information collected or processed through use of the App in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may change these Terms as necessary in accordance with applicable law. When we make a change, we will provide advance notice of the changes and their effective date in the App, on our website, or by another appropriate method.
The revised Terms will take effect on the announced effective date.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
Any dispute relating to the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of our head office.
